The Pituitary Surgery Center is part of the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery in Tampa, Florida — a hospital dedicated to surgery of the endocrine glands (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and now the pituitary). We focus on removing pituitary tumors using minimally invasive endoscopic surgery through the nose.

Our pituitary program is led by Adam I. Lewis, MD. Dr. Lewis is a neurosurgeon who specializes in cerebrovascular, spine, and skull base surgeries, including procedures related to pituitary tumors. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard College, earned his medical degree at Georgetown University, and completed his internship and neurosurgery residency at the University of Cincinnati. He practices with the NeuSpine Institute and is affiliated with HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital and HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, and he works alongside an ENT skull-base surgeon and a full endocrine and neuro-ophthalmology team.
